This video looks at how the solid colour adjustment layer can be used to produce tints in photographs in Photoshop.
The video looks at the use of several blending modes: colour, hue and soft light and even looks at how we can get a black and white from this technique.
The black and white we create in this video is more ‘pure’ than that created by other techniques. For instance, the Black and White adjustment layer not only removes colour, but it also automatically alters the contrast in side the image.
