Placing 2D Elements inside a 3D Design

Photoshop has a number of ways of including 2D pictures and textures inside a 3D design whilst working within the 3D environment itself. In this design we first create our 3D design and then combine it with 2D elements in the standard Photoshop workspace.

The result is to create a more crisp looking design than is possible using only the 3D environment and to spend much less time putting the design together than we could just using the standard 2D workspace. A classic case of getting the best of both worlds.
